Here are the various ways you can use your God given gifts and talents to serve others and play your part in building His Kingdom.

Buildings and Maintenance Team
Our aim is to keep the LCF buildings properly maintained, clean and safe. You don’t need to have DIY skills, as there are other routine tasks that will help greatly, such as a willigness to help clean up or remove weeds.

Care Team
Our goal is to encourage every person to engage in a variety of activities that promote their sense of wellbeing and enabling them to enjoy being part of the LCF church community. This ministry is to provide support and encouragement for people who are (1) new to LCF and have not yet joined a small community or (2) unable to be part of, or be supported by, a small community for a specific reason.

Choir Team
Our Choir team are a vital part of our special events which we run seasonally throughout the year, and enhance our praise and worship.

Evangelism Team
To share the good news of the gospel on the streets of Luton and to bring the love of Jesus to any person who is open and willing to listen.

Finance Team
To responsibly count, record and report the tithes and offerings donated on a Sunday as coordinated and directed by the Operations Leader.

Friendship Friday Team
Friendship Friday is a walk in welcoming place and our team of volunteers provide support and encouragement for people to engage in a variety of activities that promote their sense of wellbeing.

Kids Church Team
Kids Church Volunteers engage in a variety of activities with young people that encourage growth in the understanding of Christian identity, community and knowledge at the same time as having fun. If you have time to help on a Sunday morning and/or Friday night, please register your interest. All our Kids Church Volunteers are safely recruited and DBS checked.

Music Team
Music is a huge part of what we do here at LCF. Each week at our gatherings our amazing team lead us in sung worship that enhance church services and events including weddings.

Prayer Team
If you enjoy talking to God and have a heart for praying for others, then this team is for you. We meet periodically as a whole team to pray in the church. We meet with our church family to pray every Monday at our Abide event. We also join online every weekday to pray.

Refreshments Team
Hospitality was at the heart of Jesus’ ministry. We serve refreshments to all of the volunteers who help run our Sunday service. We also have refreshments together as a church on the last Sunday of the month which is a great time to get to know new people and catch up with old friends.

Production Team
Our production team run an area of production during the services (Camera, Lighting, Multimedia, Online director, Photographer, Service Coordinator, Sound (front of house), Sound (online). Parental consent is required for any person under 18 years of age serving in this ministry with a lone working policy in place.

Warm Hub Team
Our warm hub is funded by the local council to create a welcome and inclusive space. Our goal is to for every person to feel it is a home from home and to encourage them to engage in a variety of activities that promote their sense of wellbeing.

Welcome Team
We want everybody who walks through our doors to feel welcome and they can find a place to belong. People remember a smile and a warm welcome, so this team is a vital part of our services.

Youth Church Team
Our aim is to provide an environment for our young people to be themselves and exercise their freedom to learn more about who God is. If you have the ability to build rapport with young people and have time to give on a Sunday, and/or Friday night, please register your interest to help. We also are looking for mentors to help monthly on a Wednesay evening. All our volunteers who work with our young people are safely recruited and DBS checked.
