Giving

As a denominational evangelical church we rely on our members and attenders to provide finance for the running of the church. We encourage all taxpayers who give to use the Gift Aid scheme whereby 25% can be added to all individual donations through a government run initiative designed to help charities maximise their income. This can be done at no extra cost to the giver.

How Should I Give?

Cheerfully; faithfully responding to how God is leading you (2 Corinthians 9:7). We also believe we should give regularly out of our regular income. These are the main ways to give:

‘We are an outward looking and hilariously generous church’

Thanks and God bless you,

From Mike and the LCF Leadership Team

Ways to give

By standing order

Directly into the LCF account:

Account Name:  EFGA Luton Christian Fellowship Registered Charity Number 251549 *

Sort Code:  20-53-97.

Account Number:  10352306.

You can set up a standing order through your online banking or alternatively you can complete our standing order form and send it to your bank.

The standing order method has proved to be the simplest and most convenient method for both the church and our regular givers.

*We sometimes have an issue with the bank and our account name so if you get a bank warning regarding the name, it is ok to override the warning when setting up your standing order or transfer. As long as the sort code and account number are correct we will receive your offering.

Gift Aid

We encourage all financial supporters of LCF who pay income tax to register for the ‘Gift Aid’ scheme. ‘Gift Aid’ was introduced by the government to increase the funding of charities, (including churches) by waiving income tax on all giving received from all taxpayers. Roy Turner, Kevin Green or Ian Lewis will be able to explain how this simple scheme works BUT the beauty of the scheme is that it results in the church receiving an extra 25p for every £1 given. What’s not to like?!

Legacy Giving

When we go to Heaven, what a joy it could be to leave a gift to our church, LCF. After taking care of our family and friends, why not consider leaving a legacy to LCF? This can ensure future generations are blessed and receive the good news of Jesus
